What do you get when you have two tipsy guys joking around by the fire at Camping Kanasuta?
You end up with ravings that can sometimes turn into good ideas!
The story takes place in the middle of a July heatwave, when there are more vacationers than workers in the Abitibi forests. The campsite is packed. Fires are crackling with marshmallows and sausages. Children are telling each other scary stories, snug in their tents, a few steps away from their watchful parents.
The scene is perfect…
Except that the camping neighbours of our two partially inebriated guys are howling at the moon as if they were lone wolves.
After a few artfully sharp notes, a rumour of dissatisfaction spreads through the campsite. An agent soon arrives to warn the singers with poorly implemented authority.
Tipsy # 1, who watches the kart return to the trail after bringing order to the situation:
— Hey, don’t you find that people take themselves way too seriously, even on vacation?
— I don’t see what you’re talking about!
